SPOKANE COMMUNITY EVENTS

GIVING BACK TO THE SPOKANE COMMUNITY

Part of being a good steward is embracing and serving the community that supports us. We want to leave things better than we find them and help those that need it most in any way we can. From our yearly Day of Service to monetary donations, we give back to the areas that need to be served the most. Our charity group is made up of employees donating portions of their paychecks through our Give 5 Program that then goes directly to charities that focus on helping mainly women and children in need. See below for pictures, videos and information on the people we've given back to and the company that makes it possible.
GU COACH GETS NEW WHEELS
Larry H. Miller Lexus was able to deliver a very special gift to a very special person in the Spokane community. Gonzaga Women's Basketball Head Coach, Lisa Fortier, gives her team, University and community all she's got, every day. As a proud supporter of Gonzaga Women's basketball and to express our appreciation for such an amazing individual, we delivered her a New 2017 Lexus GX! Thank you for being a pillar in the Women's Basketball program Lisa, we hope you enjoy your new ride!

APRIL 26, 2016 | LARRY H. MILLER DAY OF SERVICE: BOYS & GIRLS CLUB SPOKANE
This year on the Larry H. Miller Day of Service all four LHM Dealerships in Spokane and the Just Sports staff decided to serve the Spokane Chapter of the Boys & Girls Club. All employees volunteered their time from 7am-12pm painting the common room and gym, as well as, trimming shrubs and trees, removing stumps, picking up rocks, and raking up dead leaves and plants. This club does so much for the youth of Spokane so the lease we could do was give a little something back to them.

At this year's Day of Service all four Larry H. Miller Dealership staff members gathered together at the new location of the Women & Children's Free Restaurant and Community Kitchen to help get it ready for opening! Volunteer members from LHM Toyota, Hyundai, Honda and Lexus cleaned, moved boxes and inventory, caulked, sanded, landscaped and painted the facility in preparation of its opening. By serving nutritious meals in a safe environment, The Women & Children's Free Restaurant and Community Kitchen builds a supportive community for women and children in need.
